Successful and in partnership
Our decades of professional experience in the field of pharmaceutical trading have contributed to an excellent worldwide supplier network characterised by reliability and partnership. The regular qualification and certification of our raw material suppliers as well as our own companies is a matter of course. For example, B.M.P. Bulk Medicines & Pharmaceuticals GmbH has been successfully bio-certified since 2017. This certification enables us to offer a growing number of extracts and raw materials for the food supplement industry in organic quality. As an importer of certain active ingredients regulated by the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG), the B.M.P. Group also holds an import permit in accordance with Section 72 AMG. Participation in the GMP + Feed Certification Scheme (GMP+ FC) is also essential for the feed industry, as this certification provides uniform international standards for the production of safe feeds.
At the end of 2003, a quality management system was established at BMP. This system was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 at the beginning of 2004 and has been audited at regular intervals ever since.

In December 2006, the competent medicinal products monitoring body in Schleswig-Holstein confirmed BMP’s GMP compliance by granting us a manufacturing licence according to Section 13 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG) and the import licence according to Section 72 AMG. We have a corresponding GMP certificate.

In addition, BMP GmbH was granted permission to trade in narcotics and raw materials in accordance with the Basic Substances Monitoring Act on 2 November 1983.
For active substances and raw materials that fall under REACH (phase-in substances), our internal REACH Officer ensures proper pre-registration or transfer of these to the registration phase. We will be happy to provide the relevant documents for the individual active substances on request.
In April 2017, B.M.P., Bulk Medicines & Pharmaceuticals GmbH was successfully certified organic. Our inspection body is Kiwa BCS Öko-Garantie GmbH (inspection body number DE-ÖKO-001). This certification allows us to offer a growing number of extracts and raw materials for the food supplement industry at organic quality.
A demonstrated guarantee of feed safety is an indispensable prerequisite for sales in the feed industry in many countries and markets. Participation in the GMP+ FC scheme was therefore inevitable for us and we are pleased that LGA InterCert Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH has confirmed that our processes (trading, collection, storage and handling) meet these standards.
